Jayme Paulsen, Chair
Description: The Communications Committee will work to develop and update the VOHL website and basic communications structures among the residents and the management company. Future developments may include an electronic newsletter, resident polling data and other projects to increase communication flow between residents, the property management company, committees and the HOA Board.
Social & Events Committee
Melissa Amy, Chair
Description: The Social/Events Committee will plan and coordinate large-scale resident social gatherings and events within VOHL. The committee plans on coordinating quarterly events each year. In addition, smaller-scale events will be coordinated as needed or as funds allow. Examples of past events included: movie night at the pool, summer party, and may now be expanded to include volunteer neighborhood clean-up efforts, parades, Pflamingo Pfirst Pfriday, other new events and parties, etc. The Social/Events Committee will also work on securing outside businesses to partner with VOHL to offer discounted classes and services to residents and to solicit sponsors for events both big and small. The committee will maintain sponsor relationships and will coordinate with all other committees to get sponsors for community events. Examples: health classes, swim lessons at the pool, sponsor advertising on our website, etc.
Debbie Gallen, Chair
Description: The Common Grounds Committee pertains to all common areas owned by VOHL only. Areas of concern include: landscaping, resident signage in the neighborhood, flag maintenance, community fences and maintenance issues with the ponds/fountains and irrigation system.
Andrew Perrow, Chair

Description: The Pool Committee works on all things related to the pool, including: lifeguards, pool hours, pool rules and overall cleanliness and functioning.
Architectural Committee (ACC and Deed Restrictions)
Ron Tenbush, Chair
Description: The Deed Restriction Committee will develop proposals for revising our deed restriction policy. The committee will designate a “yard of the month.” There may be coordination with the management company and Board for persistent problem areas in the community. Members may also conduct reviews of contested assessments and make written recommendations to the Board.
Janice Brennan, Chair
Description: The Budget Committee will work with our management company to develop a plan for each year’s proposed budget. The committee will seek out ways to reduce costs and suggest them to the Board.
